Weekly road closures are in place for major restoration work. The Oxley Highway will be closed between Knodingbul and Forbes River Roads at the following dates and times:

• Each Tuesday to Thursday from 7am to 4:30pm
• Each Friday from 7am to 3pm

The highway will remain open for special event exceptions on the following dates:

• 7 February (Walcha Cup Races)
• 14 February (Walcha Machinery and Truck Show)
• 14 March (Walcha Agricultural Show)

The highway will also remain open on weekends, Mondays, school holidays and public holidays.

The weekly road closures will be in place from 4 February to 31 July, 2025.

Piling repair works are underway at the North Hibbard Jetty, Riverside Drive North Shore. Key information regarding Hibbard ferry service:

• The ferry will operate until 9:00 am daily to accommodate morning peak traffic.
• There will be no afternoon ferry service to allow extended work hours.
• Traffic control will commence at 8:00 am each day for road and ferry closure preparations.
• Drivers can use the Settlement Point ferry during the closure period.
