Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie will take place on Sunday 5 May from 4am to 6pm. Speed restrictions, road closures and detours will be in place from around 4am through to 8pm. Blackmans Point Interchange will be closed. Port Macquarie access via Port Macquarie Interchange (Oxley Highway). Delays are expected throughout Port Macquarie on the day with increased volume of pedestrians. Follow the direction of signage and traffic control.

During the event hours of 4am to 6pm, northbound motorists wanting to access Telegraph Point will need to plan for additional travel time. To detour:

• Travel 14km north of Blackmans Point Interchange, exit the M1 using Yarabee Road Exit
• Turn right to Taree using the underpass
• Right to Taree to access the M1 southbound, travel approximately 3km south
• Use the Telegraph Point exit Haydons Wharf Road.

Hastings River Ferry

The Settlement Point Ferry, crossing the Hastings River will be closed on Sunday, 5 May 2024 from 8:00am to Sunday, 6 May 1:00am. However, the Hibbard Ferry will maintain its regular operating schedule during this time.
